She lives with her family in an old farmhouse in California. Her writing buddy is a Bichon Frise who helps the daily writing output by snoozing alongside K.E.'s writing desk.

K.E.Riley was born and educated in Britain. A student of Kent University, she majored in creative writing and gained summa cum laude in poetry. Before founding and running an IT business, she was a departmental head at London University.

A lifelong supporter of justice and resolution through negotiation, she trained in both mediation and arbitration and serves the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Service.
